"Mamak was a wonderful spot to catch up and enjoy some warm, comforting food. I had dinner there with two friends. Since I had heard their roti is popular, I ordered it along with a curry chicken laksa. Even though it was a Wednesday, the place still had a nice crowd. The laksa was hearty and delicious, and the roti was perfect for dipping. Definitely a place I would recommend!"

"I’ve been here a handful of times and always had a good time. The food comes out quickly, and the staff are always great to chat with. The menu covers all the Malaysian classics I enjoy - char kway teow, laksa, mee goreng. It’s a solid spot that consistently delivers. The Chancery location also makes it a convenient place to meet and continue your day/night, whether you're in a small or large group."

"CURRY CHICKEN NOODLE - A must have dish here. Served in a massive bowl, full of flavour, veges and heaps of chicken within. This is a flavour punching delicious curry Noodle dish. You must have this here. Sambal chickens flavour was good, but was very diluted, hence would recommend a skip on it The staff were friendly. The environment is a bit out dated, but it still is a delicious dining experience so you forget about the environment. Will be back again!"

"Love love love this place authentic, delicious Malaysian food. The best option is to get some small plates and one big plate and try a little bit of everything. So much flavor. The staff was very nice and food came quickly and was fresh. Definitely worth a stop in Auckland!"
